JASON LIM
Jason is a Director and founder of CORP8. In 1997, he was one of the founding members and an executive of Konami Gaming, which is one of the world’s most innovative game technology companies. Prior to his role at Konami, Jason worked for more than seven years at International Game Technology, the largest slot machine manufacturer in the world, both in the USA and Australia. Jason was instrumental in the transformation of traditional ‘stepperbased’ slot machines into the current video technology era. He was also a key product developer for the ground-breaking wide area network progressive jackpot systems which are now a feature of casinos throughout the world today.
KENICHI FUJIMOTO
Kenichi is the President of CORP8. Kenichi worked for the Australian Trade Commission in Japan from 1998 to 2005, promoting Australian products to the Japanese market. As such, he has an in-depth knowledge of the requirements of both the Japanese and the Australian business cultures. Kenichi has strong networks within corporate Japan, local government, industry associations, the media and the major players in knowledge-based industries such as biotechnology and IT, among others. Prior to his role at Austrade, for seven years, he worked as a sales representative for international chemical giant Dow Corning Toray Co., Ltd.
JEFF BEHNKE
Jeff is our main web developer and technical architect. His personal high-profile clients include Ford Motor Company, Yahoo.com, J. Walter Thompson Advertising, White Castle, Bosch, and a host of other well known online brands. His main responsibilities on all of these projects can be summed up in one phrase: Make it work--now. He's developed everything from online financial calculators for Prudential Life Insurance, to comparison tools for motorcycle enthusiasts, credit card processors for e-commerce sites, online gaming leaderboards, to xml web services for Fordvehicles.com. He's currently been the technical lead behind FordBoldMoves.com
PETER HOPKINS
Peter is our techinical gaming developer and has been in the gaming industry for over 13 years and has held senior positions in WMS Gaming (Williams), Konami Australia and International Game Technology. Peter’s key roles have included writing software systems for gaming machines from the ground up from inception to modifiying exisiting software systems to work in new markets and jurisidictions. He was the spearhead of the WMS Gaming software department for development of gaming products for the USA and Australia.
MARK SHERIDAN
Mark is our business adviser and strategic development officer. His wealth of experience, accumulated over 26 years has earned him a respectable and enviable position within the Sport, Entertainment, Media, Rural and Business fields. Mark has extensive experience in accounting, taxation compliance work and taxation planning, business advice, management accounting, superannuation advice, superannuation auditing and financial management for high net wealth individuals. For over 10 years Mark has been part of the management team for high profile Australian sports people and entertainers. Clients include household names such as John Eales, Ian Thorpe, Leisel Jones, Torah Bright, Lucas Neil and Mat Rogers to name a few. Mark has negotiated numerous and varied international sponsorship and licensing deals worldwide with particular emphasis on Japan, Korea, US, UK, Australia, and Germany. Mark has built a large number of important relationships internationally which expediates finding the right partner for any business offshore.
Dr Toshihiro Ishiguro, Ph.D.
Dr Ishiguro is Corp8’s biotech and medical adviser. He has been in the medical industry for over 41 years and was the Director and Head of Research of Takeda Chemical & Pharmaceutical Industries. In recent years he has acted in a private consulting role for BioPharama Toyono. Dr Ishiguro is also a Member of the Committee on Industrial Technology, Japan Federation of Economic Organization (Keidanren), Member of the Science and Technology Committee, The Kansai Corporate Executive (Kansai Keizai Doyukai)and Director & Member of the Kansai Science Forum. By Special Invitation of Australian Government, Dr Ishiguro conducted a study of Australia biotechnology in 1992, visiting 20 Australian Universities and research organizations. He is an author of 23 publications in refereed scientific journals and has authored 43 patent applications.
